These Terms of Use govern your use of getpaidgigs.com and related services (the “Service”) operated by Get Paid Gigs (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. You agree to give accurate information, keep your password secure and verify your email address and mobile number. You are responsible for activity on your account.
How the Service works
Businesses post commission-only opportunities. Scouts may submit referrals, share product links or apply to influencer campaigns. Each opportunity states its reward. Businesses review submissions and decide whether a referral is accepted as a lead, closed as a deal or rejected. Scouts are independent participants, not employees or agents of Get Paid Gigs or any business.
Scout responsibilities
- Only refer people who have agreed to be contacted by the business, and share only information they allowed you to share.
- Do not spam, misrepresent a business or its offer, or create fake or duplicate referrals.
- Disclose paid relationships when promoting products or campaigns, as required by FTC guidelines (for example #ad).
Business responsibilities
- Provide accurate company information and hold any licenses your services require.
- Review referrals in good faith and pay the rewards stated in your opportunity for accepted leads, deals and sales.
- Contact referred people only about the service they were referred for, and follow applicable marketing laws.
Earnings and payouts
Rewards are earned when a business approves the lead, deal or sale. Earnings may be held for a review period before they are available to withdraw. Payouts are made through our payment processor, which may require identity verification and a W-9. Rewards are income, and we issue tax forms where required. We may reverse earnings obtained through fraud or a violation of these Terms.
Text messages
By agreeing at sign-up, you consent to receive account verification and security text messages from Get Paid Gigs at the mobile number you provide. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Opting out of texts may limit your ability to verify your phone number.
Prohibited conduct
You may not break the law, infringe others' rights, interfere with the Service, scrape it, or use it to send unsolicited messages.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee any level of earnings or results, and we are not responsible for the services businesses provide. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
